NEW! February 26 Directors Update

Play for Alyssa, Play for MSD, Play for Parkland

February 14th will forever be marked in history by a    horrible tragedy that affected our community. A date   always associated with love and friendships has now been   tarnished. I will take time to heal, but our club and our   community are strong and together we will overcome this.

Though one of our glowing stars faded away from our   sight, Alyssa’s spark and shine is reborn deep into our   heart, our minds and our character.

Alyssa had a smile that was contagious; it was common to see people around her laughing and just overall happy. Her loyalty to coach Laurie forced all other coaches to work that much harder. Her telling us “Coach Laurie does not do that” will forever ring loud in many of the coaches ears.

Alyssa played her last physical game the night of February 13th, and what a game she played. She gave a demonstration of poise, vision and skills and together with her teammates got an amazing win against our neighbors and ever rivals Coral Springs United.

Though her candle light burned out earlier than it should, the light of her happiness, her friendship, her hard work and her smile will brighten our path forever, her energy can now lead many other players who will use her help and her smile.

As our club approached the Weston Tournament, we received an impressive display of support by clubs around Florida and throughout the United States. Players, referees and fans  joined in our call to play for this amazing young lady who touched our lives and will live in our hearts forever. As a club we thank the Soccer community for their support and friendship in these challenging times.

After this painful event, our club joins together, we commit to work harder and grow stronger. PSC will play for Alyssa, PSC will Play for Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, PSC will Play for the great city of Parkland.
